I don't know anything about humility until I read a book by pastor humfery talking about humility. If anyone tells you that a certain person speaks bad of you, do not make excuses about what is said of you but answer "SHE WAS IGNORANT OF MY OTHER FAULTS, ELSE SHE WOULD NOT HAVE MENTIONED THESE ALONE.

Humility is perfect quietness of heart. It is to expect nothing, to wonder at nothing that is done to a person. To feel nothing done against a person. It is to be at test when nobody praises a person, and when a person blamed or despised. It is to have a blessed home in the Lord, where you can go in and shut the door, and kneel to our Father in secret, and you at peace as in deep ocean of calmness, when all around and above is trouble.

Because as long as you are proud of your wrong doing, YOU cannot know God. A proud person is always looking down on thing and people to put them up. And of course, as long as you are looking down you cannot see something that is above you.

I have 3 precious things which I hold fast and prize. The first is gentleness, the second is frugality, the third is humility which keeps me from putting myself before others. Be gentle and you can be bold, BE frugal and you can be liberal, avoid putting yourself before others and you can become a leader among people around You. Be humble
